The Magic of Autumn
Paris yoga workshops to help you wizard your way through this seasonal transition, creative writing sessions to transfigure the Witching Hour vibes of October
In Elaine Konopka’s recent The Attentive Body newsletter, she talked about magic and about how, paradoxically, magic is work. Your sweat, your labour, your persistence, your imagination: those are the essential ingredients that make up your magic.
“From Morgana to Gandalf1, enchanters have always rolled up their sleeves and gotten their hands dirty.”
Magicians—they’re just like us.
With that in mind: what spells are you working on in your life right now? What magic might already exist and what did you do to conjure it into being? Listening, paying attention, meditating, repeating a mantra (an old school incantation, amiright?), putting our heart and effort into something important (like the breakfast potion above) — these are ALL acts of practical sorcery that we use over and over again to charm our reality into being.

The leaves are changing color, the air has a sharp bite… these harbingers of Autumn signal the beginning of a season of transition and transformation. It’s an optimal time to put balancing practices into place and this workshop will give you the tools to do so: Face Yoga to smoothe tension; Vinyasa to gently detox the body, stimulate your energy and immune system; and a sound bath to bring about deep, resonant tranquility.
