What’s next for Do Yoga in Paris? Does it remain a Paris directory for yoga and meditation? Or does it evolve into something else? More Paris, less yoga? More yoga, less Paris? More art and culture? An actual paper dispatch rather than a digital one?
If you have ideas, click on the Tell Me Here button below ⤵️. This newsletter is meant to be inspiring but more importantly useful so if there’s something you’d like to see more or less of, please say so.
I’ve also opened up the Comments to everyone so if you’d like to exchange with others in an open forum, have at it!
On my end, here are the two things I would love to build out in the next year:
Paris Studio Spotlights
In 2025, I’d love to expand this feature so that it’s a more accurate picture of the spaces I recommend the most, places that reflect what’s special about doing yoga in Paris. Many studios closed during/after Covid, new ones have sprouted up, and it would be great to have the time and resources to do a proper tour d’horizon as they say…Perfect Yoga Day
The amount of work that Perfect Yoga Day represents is utterly bonkers — from mapping the route to vetting each stop to designing the graphic — so I was only able to create one in 2024. But I would love to craft more of these day-long Paris yoga itineraries that take you from coffee to yoga to lunch to quirky boutiques along the way because I think it would be cool to have a Perfect Yoga Day for each of Paris’ 20 arrondissements, or at the very least a handful of some of the micro-neighborhoods that make up bigger arrondissements.
If neither Paris Studio Spotlight nor Perfect Yoga Day speaks to you and you’d like to see more of something else… more of what exactly? Tell me more! Take a seat and fill in the blank right here.
And just by the way, in case it wasn’t self-evident…
None of what I created in 2024 with Do Yoga in Paris and what I hope to create in 2025 is possible without paid subscribers whose contributions fund the research, the time and space to think, the visits, the writing and the photography that it takes to make Do Yoga in Paris.
When it comes to the content I share, the truth is you could probably scan Google every day, or compulsively sign up for every single yoga center’s email list to get the latest news from them, or stumble into your local Parisian studio and have an alright experience. But why not save yourself the trouble and subscribe to Do Yoga in Paris instead? We do the work so you don’t have to.
Thanks for reading this far! A big merci to all of you for your continued encouragement and enthusiastic reception. Have a lovely holiday and a sparkly new year!
✨
Martine, Yoga in Paris sounds like a lot of fun. Even more fun might be the Night Watch and Yoga ala your previous post. Thanks for sharing.
😅So. Much. Work. I don’t know how you do it! A paper dispatch sounds very cool to me, but you know I’m a Luddite. Whatever you do is always excellent. ❤️
