Exploring Art Differently in Paris
What if instead of trophy hunting, a museum visit were an occasion for true discovery and deeper self-inquiry?
What if instead of trophy hunting, a museum visit were an occasion for true discovery and deeper self-inquiry?
When we put away our smartphones and take the time to be present in front of a work of art, the experience is transformed from one of passive observation into one of active engagement. The art is saying something to us and wants us to listen, to follow the contours of its shapes, the rhythms of its edges and patterns. The artist put time and thought and effort and materials and heart and frustration and sweat and rigor into the piece that is front of us. Don’t we at least owe him/her/them and the work our undivided, focused attention?
Yes! Keep this in mind (and body and heart) as you browse the options below.
