Sunday was the Autumn equinox and ever on trend — Paris Fashion Week kicks off today — the city shifted its wardrobe from gauzy sunshine to slate grays and chalky limestone.
Fall is our favorite season because it feels like a new beginning: trees are changing clothes; marchés are awash in a palette of mushroom, pumpkin and grape; the morning air is crisp and clear and seems to sharpen the contours of everything.
All inflection points between seasons are opportunities to reset and/or recommit, but Fall is the one that really feels, to us, like we’ve turned to a fresh page in our life’s sketchbook and are free to draw, write, design, and imagine again.
